About Us
WESTERN MEDICAL CENTER ANAHEIM is a 188-bed acute care facility that has been serving Anaheim and its surrounding communities for nearly 40 years. The hospital offers a wide range of medical expertise and advanced technology for the entire family. Our physicians, nurses and staff members focus on the needs of our patients and celebrate the cultural diversity of the communities we serve. We are located 1 mile northeast of Disneyland and are an active member in the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce.
The hospital accepts most health insurance plans and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Admissions
Admitting services are located at the main entrance of the hospital and are open from 5:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. The nursing supervisor designee is available to accept direct admissions outside of these hours.
Pre-Admissions
If you're scheduled for surgery in advance, you will receive a call at home a few days prior to your expected arrival at WMCA. Your insurance and personal information will be gathered in order to expedite the admissions process once you arrive at the facility. Patient with Special Needs/ Interpreter Services
Interpreter Services are available in many languages, including Spanish and Vietnamese. Services are also available for hearing impaired patients. These services are offered 24 hours a da, seven days a week, free of charge.
