Our Family Caring for Your Family

We'll use Our Experience to help create Your Experience...

Whether you're expecting for the first time or adding to your family, we at WMCA understand that you are facing many important decisions--like where you will deliver.

You can rest assure that we have the experience, customer service and compassion to offer you quality, patient-focused care.

At WMCA, we've been deliverying babies since 1992 and in an ever-changing world, one thing remains the same:  each person's delivery experience is unique.  You see, we recognize that you and your baby are more than patients, you're family.

What to Expect:  Before and After

When the time comes, you and your birth partner will labor, deliver and recover all in the same room (Labor and Delivery Room, or LDR).  Our experienced team of nurses and doctors want to work with you to achieve the most positive birth experience possible.

Each LDR has its own private bathroom and shower. Our suites are spacious and provide a comfortable atmosphere for you and your support person (s).

After you deliver, you and your baby will be assigned one special nurse who will care for you both.  Babies will stay with their mom in the room.  This is called Couplet Care.  For our little ones who may arrive a bit early or need some extra medical attention, we also offer a special care nursery.

For the healthiest start in life, we encourage breastfeeding your baby.  Our nurses are trained in breastfeeding techniques and are there to support you should you chose to do so.

The Well-being of Mommy and Baby

Safety and Security

We take the safety and security of you and your baby very seriously.  We have a secured locked unit for mothers and infants.  Additionally, we apply alarmed-security bracelets to all newborns immediately after delivery.  You and your birth partner will be instructed on the security of our birthing center when you arrive.
