Laboratory Services

What is the Laboratory?

WMCA's laboratory is where tests on blood, urine & other body fluids, as ordered by your doctor, are performed.  Our lab is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists to perform these tests and our staff is hightly qualified to provide these services in a professional and caring manner.

If you are an Inpatient:

If you are a patient staying here at the hospital, one of our staff members will come to your room to take your blood or secure a sample of urine or other body fluid as ordered by your doctor.  We are always happy to explain what we are doing and why and to address any concerns you may have.

If you are an Outpatient:

If your test is to be performed on an outpatient basis, you will visit our admitting department first to be registered.  Once you are registered you will be directed to the laboratory services department.  If you would like to pre-register for your appointment please visit our Admitting Page.

Outpatient Laboratory and Blood Drawing Hours Are:

6am - 7pm Daily
