Adult Intensive Care Unit
Our 22-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit provides care for critical patients over the age of 12 with an actual or potential life threatening condition in need of continuous specialized care and observation. Conditions for which patients are typically admitted to ICU include:
- Cardiac and cardiovascular diseases
- Respiratory distress and failure
- Renal failure
- Endocrine crisis
- Psychiatric patients with acute medical problems
- High risk obstetrical disorders
- Post surgical and procedural patients typically include:
- cardiac and cardiothoracic surgery
- cardiac catheterization
- angioplasties
- stent placement
- abdominal surgeries
Our unit is staffed by nurses certified in advanced life support and features advanced intensive care technology and cardiac monitoring devices for patients with heart problems. Each patient is closely monitored and will receive appropriate and effective pain management in a timely and caring manner.
Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Unit
Our combined 24-bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Unit provides care for patients over the age of 12 with general acute medical conditions and patients recovering from surgery. This unit also provides a higher level of care for patients requiring close observation including cardiac monitoring.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Located within the birthing center , our 5-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides care for premature babies and newborns with special medical needs. This unit is designed to care for ill and preterm neonates who require continuous monitoring, observation and support of vital functions and to support and educate the parents and family members of these precious patients.
