The Education department offers a variety of programs including employee continuing educational needs, birthing classes, community events, and nutritional services. 

Employee Continuing Education

WMCA maintains a relationship with Flex Ed to provide its employees with the ability to meet their continuing education needs.  They offer a variety of classes at various dates and times to fit in with the employee’s busy schedule.  Classes are offered at many convenient locations in Southern California including at WMCA.

Women's Health Services Classes

WMCA is pleased to offer a variety of  free prenatal classes and health education, including prenatal care and birthing classes provided in English and Spanish.  Our schedule of upcoming classes is listed below.

Nutritional Services

WMCA’s registered dietitian/nutritionist is available to inpatients to provide medical nutrition therapy to help prevent or treat a wide variety of conditions, including Diabetes including Gestational Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Gastrointestinal Disorders (celiac sprue, crohns, irritable bowel syndrome), and Weight Control Diabetic education.
