Recognizing the need for a facility dedicated to health care informational service,s Alvarado Hospital created the Community Health Resource center. But how do we isolate specific information from today's vast repository of medical data.
Established to provide free public access to information regarding the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease, our Resource Center may also help you with referrals to qualified health care professionals, counseling services and community education classes.

At the Community Health Resource Center you will find:

• Computerized medical data base and Internet access with custom links
• Community education classes exploring a range of topics
• Health-related videos and comfortable viewing area
• Consumer-friendly medical information and resources including books, medical journals and magazines
• Information regarding local health care providers and organizations
• Friendly staff members to assist you
