The Volunteers at the Alvarado Hospital Medical Center campus play a pivotal role in patient satisfaction.
Adults, both pre and post retirement, enjoy the opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering at our facilities.
Students explore the health care field to gain knowledge and experience for their future while helping others. Students may receive a letter of reference upon successful completion of their commitment.
In return for their contribution, all volunteers receive such tangible rewards as lunch provided on their workday and, more importantly, intangible rewards, such as seeing results of their role in a patient's recovery.
There are many exciting opportunities ranging from clerical support, to assisting with patients, or working in the gift shop.
If you would like to make new friends, enhance your own skills, use your existing skills, explore your options and, most importantly, make a difference, please call.
