Women in all stages of life may benefit from Alvarado's Center for Women's Health. This Center encompasses our maternity unit, mammography services, and a gynecological surgery program. The Birthing Suites

Specially designed for mothers-to-be to experience labor, delivery and recovery in one comfortable room, these twelve suites are staffed by skilled nurses who help couples through their delivery and postpartum periods. Just a few steps away are surgical suites equipped to handle Caesarean births. The adjacent nursery includes a five-bed level II neonatal intensive care unit.

Fertility Center

Millions of American couples have suffered the pain and frustration of infertility. Fortunately, medical options exist today that may help. Advanced diagnostic techniques now can help physicians to identify the cause of infertility in many couples, and specialized assisted reproductive procedures frequently may be able to provide effective treatment.

The Fertility Center offers a wide range of assisted reproductive services in one convenient outpatient setting, staffed by compassionate and experienced professionals. Our team performs:

• infertility evaluations
• laparoscopic infertility surgery
• assisted reproduction (IVF, GIFT and ZIFT procedures)
• male infertility (ICSI, TESE, and MESA)
• embryo freezing
• advanced micromanipulation techniques and cryopreservation of embryos.

We also offer access to community-based egg donor programs, and stress reduction and personal counseling services available through our affiliated physicians' offices.
