The emergency department at Western Medical Center/Anaheim is ready to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our ER is a paramedic receiving station and has an emergency-trained physician on duty around the clock, along with a team of highly trained specialists. For cardiac and respiratory problems, our caring emergency department staff is certified for advanced and pediatric advanced life support. We also have many certified emergency nurses, along with some of the latest medical equipment. We offer quality care, when you need it. Foreign language interpreter services are also available if needed.

MediStat Program
The MediStat program is a low cost alternative for minor medical problems. MediStat offers the convenience of an urgent care clinic with the backing of a hospital in case more intensive care is needed. Basic emergency services, including physician evaluation and hospital fees for urgent care, are provided for a flat rate. When extensive laboratory tests, x-rays, or extended services are provided, Standard Emergency Room charges will be applied. Following treatment, you will be referred to a physician if continuing treatment or specialized treatment is necessary.

You may use MediStat when you need prompt medical attention, such as for fever, flu, earaches, cold and other minor medical matters. MediStat is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is staffed by physicians specially trained in emergency medical care.

To use MediStat, walk into the Emergency Room and tell the receptionist you want to be treated under the MediStat program.
